What is Bitcoin Casino Kings and who is Jakob?
My name is Jakob and I am the founder of the web site Bitcoin Casino Kings. The site was founded in March 2015 when the domain also got registered.
Bitcoin Casino Kings is a Bitcoin and crypto casino review website. My goal for the website is to be the best and most trusted Bitcoin casino review page out there.
My site includes a lot of reviews of Bitcoin and crypto casinos and betting sites. I also write news articles about news on Bitcoin gambling world. New casinos emerge almost every month and new bonuses and promotions start now and then.
In Bitcoin Casino Kings you can also write user reviews and ratings about the crypto gambling sites. This is my main goal at the moment to make the review system better and more trusted among readers. A lot of work is still to do!

Bitcoin Casino Kings is a so called affiliate website, so I get monetary compensation from the players I send to casinos. Not all other casino review sites are quite clear on this, but I want to be honest.
However this doesn’t make your winnings or profits any smaller. Actually it can be even the opposite: I am continuously negotiating with the casino managers for a better deposit bonuses and deals like free spins. I try to be as objective and honest as possible while writing the reviews. My goal is to make the most trusted crypto casino review site out there and that cannot be done with false or dishonest reviews.
I don’t advertise my site anywhere, the only visitors come from Google searches. Google likes high quality content where people spend time and love to share for instance in forums or social media.
So, the only way for me to get more visitors and make the site better is, to make trusted and honest reviews. And I don’t want to misguide anyone. There is enough fake news and sites in the internet already. I want to spread good. From the gambler – to the gamblers! Nothing more, nothing less.
How did it all start?
I think somewhere around 2013 me and my friend found Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Back then it seemed like a fun tech project with no real use. The idea behind blockchain was anyway interesting.
Later on I bought few Bitcoins at a price of $200. Some half a year later I sold most of them at a price of $400. Few years later I heard about this word HODL.
Somewhere around January or February 2015 we started talking with my friend about some project related to Bitcoins. Neither of us could code. However both of us liked online sports betting and poker playing (and maybe some online casinos too).
That lead to an idea of a Bitcoin casino website. We started looking for the internet, is there any sites yet? There were few, but not very high quality. My friend had some background in website and affiliate business, so this idea lead to my own website.
Day job
And once again, like we all, I also need money make my living. At the moment, this website is my only source of income. So I can call this my day job.
I do everything myself, so there is a lot of work to do! There are lot of costs to fast hosting, office rent, special website tools and now and then I want to pay some salary to myself. This is why most blogs and websites have affiliate links in their sites, if they are not selling ads or monetizing the website some other way.
But I wouldn’t recommend a shady casino even if it would bring me higher short term results. I like to grow this site more slowly and get happy customers and good feedback.
In my opinion, being open about affiliate links is the best way to go and you can still produce high quality content.
Where did the website name come from?
If I remember correct, it was March 2015 in Malta. Some beer was involved and we were thinking of a good website name. Back then, many of the search engine optimization guides told that the domain has to have the most important keyword in its name (now it has changed a little bit I think).
So the domain had to have something with Bitcoin and Casinos in it. If I remember correct, we had some good laughs with terrible domain names. But staging-jagureme.kinsta.cloud just came somewhere. I don’t know if it is the perfect one, but now I go with that.

Learning by doing
The start wasn’t easy. I am not a website coder professional. I knew just the basics of Photoshop. I made my first website when I was at 13 and at school, but online world had changed a lot since year 1997.
I started learning about HTML, CSS, website publishing tools, hosting services, website speed optimization, search engine optimization, cryptocurrencies, gambling world…a lot of things. But slowly one thing at a time the website started to build up.
At the beginning, the website was very basic and to be honest, wasn’t very good. There were no visitors and no income so I forgot the site for over a year. I had another day job and many hobbies, so I just hadn’t the time and interest for the website.

In the spring of 2018 I got sick and tired of my old day job. I had a little savings so I could take some time off the job. So I quit my day job in the start of the summer 2018 and thought – why not start doing this website full time and try how it goes?
First months were hard, but now things are running more smoothly! This is my only source of income and I call this my day job. These days, I have also started doing SEO (Search engine optimization) to other companies. I think I could call SEO my true passion, but gambling and gaming is a very important hobby for me.
Something about me
My name is Jakob King and I am now now 36 years old. That is not my real name, but you could call it a pseudonym like Satoshi Nakamoto (ps. not comparing myself to Satoshi). So my name is not real, but everything else on this site is real and true.
If you want to win, hire a Finn
I was born in Finland 1983 and am a Finnish citizen. Finns are the people from up the north, more closely Nordic countries. Technically Finland is not part of Scandinavia, but people sometimes include Finland there. Nordic countries are Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland btw if you didn’t know.
The stereotype is that we Finns are honest, shy, but really trustworthy and we can do team work. And we are very friendly and nice people if you happen to find a Finn who can talk. We are sometimes very strange – like Kimi Räikkönen. But we like how we are. We are not going to change – and why should we?
When I was younger I have always loved technology and computers. My first contact with internet was around 1995 or 1996 when I was 12 or 13. I was in a school tech camp and the teacher (who was a hardcore nerd) introduced us to this new thing called internet. We used mIRC and surfed some basic websites. And maybe even created a website, but can’t remember that.
I have always loved also computer games. But when the online poker boom started in 2006 or 2007, I was hooked immediatedly. All of my friends started playing online and hoped to be the next poker star. Including me. And some of my friends did quite good and played professionally for many years. But my poker career didn’t start so well.
So I continued my studies and forgot poker dreams. So I continued my mathematics, physics and chemistry studies in Eastern Finland University. I graduated to a physics, maths and chemistry teacher. I did teaching for years in high school. I liked the job very much, but in the last years I needed some change.
Bitcoin Casino Kings comes to life
So here comes Bitcoin Casino Kings. Now I am working on this site almost full time and also doing SEO (search engine optimization) to other websites.
I am doing everything to the site. Updating, writing, developing etc. I am not a master in anything, but know the basics of many things.
Now in 2020 I live in Tallinn, Estonia, where my office is also located. Tallinn is located very close to Helsinki, Finland (about two hours on a ship or half an hour flight over the sea). So it wasn’t a very big change for me. In Estonia founding a new company is very easy and there isn’t a lot of bureaucracy. Estonia has also a quite big Finnish community of IT workers especially in the affiliate website or gambling field, so moving here was quite natural choice. For me, the community and the support of friends working in the same field is important.
My motto is: If you just want, you can learn (almost) everything. So the story continues and let’s see where crypto gambling is heading in 2021!
